Prayers for the Shoreline – layered digital images of changing coasts, water and light. In IamNature.Art I try to embrace nature at all levels. Through digital photo artwork I explore a process of change and renewal.

These works stay close to the unstable edge between land and water, where erosion, memory and renewal are always at play. Fragments of coastlines, water surfaces and tidal traces are gathered from photographs and earlier paintings, then transformed digitally into layered, abstract images. Lines, fields of colour and soft reflections echo rocks, seaweed, sand and sky without fixing them as a single, clear view. Light and darkness move through the compositions like slow waves, shifting between deep blues, muted earth tones and sudden, quiet brightness. The shoreline appears and disappears, sometimes as a clear contour, sometimes only as a suggestion at the meeting point of two colours. Each image is built as a kind of visual invocation: a small, concentrated space for listening to the more‑than‑human world. Rather than illustrating a specific place, these works stay with the fragile thresholds themselves – the zones where ground is lost, gained and reshaped over time. They can be read as wordless prayers for patience and attention: invitations to remain with the changing coast, to feel its vulnerability, and to sense our own place within these movements of water, weather and time.
