VISUAL ARTIST EVA KURSETH - I AM NATURE
Fields of Perception – abstract digital landscapes of inner light and quiet attention. IamNature.Art is a process of bouth inner and outer art work. The photos were captured at a water reservoirs and by the Norwegian coast and later transformed into layered digital artworks. They tell stories on differrent levels.
In Fields of Perception, the interference is quieter. The images move away from overt rupture and toward an inner luminosity, where soft transitions and restrained contrasts carry most of the tension. Here, form, rhythm and colour are used less as structures to describe a landscape and more as subtle signals of presence, attention and stillness. Each work is built as a layered digital field, where traces of nature, abstract painting and gentle light overlap. Edges soften, lines repeat like calm pulses, and colour shifts are almost meditative rather than dramatic. The viewer is invited into a slower space, where perception itself becomes part of the work – not to decode a hidden message, but to rest with what is already there. The focus in this series is on a more spiritual attention, a sense that the landscape is not just something we look at, but something that might be “listening back”. Through quiet rhythms and carefully tuned colour relationships, the images open onto a feeling of oneness with the more‑than‑human world, as if inner and outer fields of perception briefly align.
